DAVID COOK PLAYS CUSTOM LUNA IN AMERICAN IDOL FINALS
American Idol finalist David Cook performed “Sharped Dressed Man”
with ZZ Top during the seventh Season Finale of Idol.
David Cook played his custom Luna on the finale of the 2008 American Idol season.

Luna built it's first USA model to the specifications of David Cook, finalist of the 2008 American Idol show.
The profile and hardware on David's guitar were based on Luna's Apollo series.
His special requests were a white finish, EMG pickups as well as the initials AC which are a tribute to his two brothers, Adam & Andrew.
The black initials are backed by a collage of silver artwork. The palm and hand were inspired by
David's own artwork on his CD "Analog Heart". Luna added
some diaphanous wings behind the letters as a symbol of hope, inspiration,
and transformation.
Like the regular Apollos, the top is flame maple, in this case with the maple binding showing through the opaque white finish.
