Luna built it's first USA model to the specifications of David Cook, finalist of the 2008 American Idol show. The profile and hardware on David's guitar were based on Luna's Apollo series. His special requests were a white finish, EMG pickups as well as the initials AC which are a tribute to his two brothers, Adam & Andrew.

The black initials are backed by a collage of silver artwork. The palm and hand were inspired by David's own artwork on his CD "Analog Heart". Luna added some diaphanous wings behind the letters as a symbol of hope, inspiration, and transformation.
