Yes, a gifted Luna is still under warranty. HOWEVER, proof of purchase is still necessary when contacting our customer service department.
1. If you are purchasing a Luna for a friend or family member, either provide them with the receipt and ask them to keep it in a safe place or simply let them know that you have the receipt should they ever need it to use their warranty.
2. If you have received a Luna as a gift from a friend or family member, ask them if they have the receipt as it will be necessary to use the warranty if needed. They can give it to you in a sealed envelope that you will promise to "break only in case of emergency"!
