1.  What makes Luna Guitars different?

Luna Guitars are designed to maximize your playing comfort. They are fashioned to stimulate the mind and to appeal to the unique sensibility of creative individuals.

Luna instruments are crafted with the features that make guitars easier to play: slender necks for easier fretting, smaller headstocks for a more elegant profile, and lighter weight for long-set endurance. Selected models also feature compact, easy-to-handle size that's especially ideal for young players.

Luna Guitars reflect a passionate, engaging and alluring color palette. The intricate inlaid designs of the Flora and Fauna models are inspired by the exquisite beauty of nature and finely crafted in abalone and mother-of-pearl for a visual presence as distinctive as their rich, resplendent tones. The beautiful Muse series captures timeless Celtic designs, and the innovative Henna models mirror the living artwork that people the world over have celebrated in body painting for centuries.

Luna's newest classic art designs speak to the goddess in all of us with luminous reproductions of images that evoke the timeless grace of women through the ages. Their mellow tonal range produces an enchanting resonance that is the perfect complement to the instruments' striking aura. The Andromeda and Athena lines bring to life an array of exciting, feature-packed models for electric guitar players. Whatever your playing style, you'll find that Luna Guitars has created an ideal instrument for you.

11. Where are Luna Guitars made?

Luna guitars are designed by our staff here in the United States , then manufactured to our strict specifications by instrument specialists in China . In fact, most guitar companies in operation today have some or all of their instruments built in China . In today's global marketplace, China is experiencing rapid economic growth and has become a trusted source in many areas of manufacturing.

Throughout the design and construction process, Luna's leadership team maintains close communication with all of our vendors. Each instrument that arrives in our Tampa, Florida headquarters is inspected by a technician, who also performs a detailed set-up process on each guitar before it is sent to a Luna authorized dealer. We are dedicated to providing you with quality musical instruments and we stand behind every model with our Luna Guitars limited lifetime warranty.

12. What kind of strings should I use on my Luna Guitar?

Today, there are many options in guitar strings. Often, the best choice is a matter of personal taste. Gauge refers to the weight of the string and you can select medium, light or extra light gauge. Lighter gauges tend to be easier for new players who don't have well-developed callouses yet.

The metal the strings are made of will affect the sound they produce (gauge does too, though not as radically). Stainless steel, nickel, bronze, phosphor-bronze, silk and steel are just a few of the options. You might ask your music store to let you play guitars with different kinds of strings to see what they sound like.

Or try strings made from a different material each time you change your strings. This is a good way to live with each kind for a while and can help you get a pretty good idea of which material produces the kind of sound you like best. Don't be afraid to experiment and see what you like and what feels best to your fingers.

The type of guitar you play also will limit your string options. Electric or acoustic; 6-string, 12-string or bass - each calls for different types of strings. Your authorized Luna Guitars dealer can help you make an informed choice to meet your playing needs.
