'm writing to EXCLAIM, at how in love with your guitars I am.....I had decided i really wanted a steel string, and started looking into guitars, and happened across your website, where i fell in LOVE with your beautiful designs and bodies.....Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for making such exquisite and remarkably beautiful pieces of art!

~ Sarah CA

I just received my Dolphin, and all I can say is "WOW!" The first thing was the beautiful finish with the Dolphins surrounding the sound hole (my wife loves Dolphins, so this was a good choice!), the tuner is a plus because now it is easier to go about tuning quick, and the overall look and quality of sound is awesome! Thank you so much for a truly inspirational guitar to look at and to play.

~ Henry

After reading the Luna story it was refreshing that one creative soul was the main thrust behind your project and not a bunch of designers and marketers answering to stock holders. I'm in business too and have to pay the rent. But at the end of the day if I can help a fellow artist to improve through any help, it strenghthens my passion for the creative arts. Your guitars look to be ideal canvasses for musicians to create wonderful work on. Regards.

~ Trevor

I have 10 guitars including Gretch,Gibson, and many others but when I'm on my garage stage or on a real stage I feel more comfortable with my Luna.

Peace,

I have been an avid guitarist since I was 14. My first job was at a music store. When it comes to guitars I have always noticed the same conundrum. If a guitar is particularly artistic, it is always either: a) REALLY expensive  b) sounds like crap  or c) PLAYS like crap. I was in to buy some pics the other day and saw the henna "paradise" guitar...I thought, "Why not?" I picked it up and WOW. It played as easily as a small electric. The tone was warm and delicious. It was shaped to comfortably fit into the curves of my body, and not just sit on me like a small boulder and cut off all blood supply to my right arm. So, I plugged it into a Valvestate to try out its electric side. WOW! It held its own with the HEAVIEST of heavy! I started sweating. My heart started racing like a 13 year old with a crush. I braced myself. Took a deep breath. And flipped over the price tag.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN AFFORD IT!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
In all of my years, I have NEVER found "the one"...that perfect guitar for me. I have never fallen in love like so many of those around me. And, now.....I've found her. thank you. thank you. thank you. thank you. thank you.

I recently discovered Luna Guitars by accident  online. I am in love...When I first saw  your guitars I was too excited for words. While I am gainfully
employed, I have decided to create a lens with a view to making enough
money to purchase three of your guitars; the Parlor, the Fauna Phoenix
and the Trinity. Thank-you so much for making these guitars. They make me feel proud to be a female musician. Hopefully one day soon I'll be playing them.

~ Terry

I just received my Luna Dragonfly & all I can say is wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Primarily I was a drummer until a back injury sidelined me. As you know sometimes band members get bored & switch off on instruments on songs they like. I always liked CSN & playing rhythm guitar. I played a Dfly @ a dealers show in PA a year ago, I was hooked. I have never played such a comfortable, bright sounding & visually bold acoustic in my life. Even though I live in Martin country even my Martin snob friends were amazed @ the sound quality & ease of play. While we were playing one of them commented that the sound was fuller than his D28!!
I really enjoy your instrument & as I can afford it I am replacing my electric with an Apollo & my 12 string with a Trinity!

~ Rob

Well I finally took the plunge and bought a Fauna Phoenix sight unseen
from American Musical Supply. It is truly beautiful, and sound lovely
as well. I can see how a person might become a collector :)...or a
retailer, for that matter....

~ Terry

Well... the dream is finally a reality! We just picked up my new Trinity 12 - and it's a beauty, just as I imagined! The tone is perky, yet full - soft and resonant all at the same time! Not sure which I enjoy more right now - looking at it or playing it... my small fingers love the width of the neck ... now, to harden those calluses! Thank you for your vision and attention to little and not-so-little details ... bringing both physical, spiritual and audible beauty together in one package ... It is becoming clear to me that I'm gonna have to have my own 6-string now as well - hubby can have his Martin D18 back (lol - that's saying alot), i'm thinking a Phoenix or Oracle Zen!! Just wanted to pass on how ecstatic I am that it's finally here!

~Robin Le CAN

Yvonne, you and your creativity are a blessing! When I looked for an acoustic guitar to add to my collection recently, the look and feel of the guitar was very important to me because I like quality things and I wanted something that was very visually appealing. I was originally looking at some of the higher-end Daisy Rock offerings when I came across one of your creations which led me to your company and other designs. I knew right away I was at the right place that had what I was searching for. After looking at all the guitars, I particularly fell in love with the Fauna Dolphin, as it embodied so much of what I had in mind with the majestic and inspirational dolphins swimming around the sound hole, on the azure quilted top that reminds me so much of the ocean, along with the trademark moon phase inlays. It really touched me in a spiritual way, being the Scorpio lady I am. It's a truly wonderful and special creation, that is a joy to play, touch, and gaze upon. I am extremely happy with it, and everyone who sees it comments on how beautiful it is!

First, let me tell you how much I love my new Luna Muse Burst guitar. I have played guitar for 40 years and this is the nicest guitar I have owned.
Thanks for making such magical instruments.

~ Gary MA

I have only been playing guitar since this past July. I know it may seem a bit extravagant but I own three Luna guitars and I love them all! I have the Luna Fauna Phoenix, the Athena Gazelle, and the Andromeda Flame Amber. These guitars look expensive and sound wonderful. I have the Luna Fauna Phoenix and my boyfriend says it has "mojo"! I am not sure which one is my favorite. Please keep up the good work! I never thought I would play an instrument, let alone the guitar. Luna has made it possible for me to enjoy learning to play so much that I usually take a guitar to work to practice during my lunch break and then I practice again when I get home in the evenings. Your guitars are an inspiration!

~ Janice

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've been shopping for an acoustic electric 12 string and as soon as I saw your "muse" model it was love at first site!
~ Michael OR

Hello Luna Guitars! I wanted to write and tell you how much I love your instruments. I own the Phoenix electric and acoustic. Since I have bought mine, several of my musician friends have bought them as well!
Thanks again for creating instruments that truly inspire!

Hi, I wrote you from Chile, South america, my name is Luis. Viewing
guitars on internet with my girlfriend, we found yours guitars and we
fall in love, they are so beatifull and originals, the artistic design
of them is completely awesome. Here in Chile, the end of the world
u.u, we can buy some Ibanez, one or two Takamine, Fender or Ovation,
but always are the same model, borring classic acoustci-electric
guitar. I love the Henna serie, but my girlfriend, Jaol, need to buy
the Flora Passionflower, she will buy this or nothing.
From the end of the world our thanks and congratulation for have the
courage and the artistic sensibility to create your guitars ans
basses.

~ Luis

My name is Vince and I just bought a Luna guitar. A very lovely Henna model with a cedar top. This is a great guitar that sounds as beautiful as it looks. Thank you for making a great guitar. I'm going to play this much love. I play just about all types of music. I need a guitar for something more pretty and melodic. This will fit the bill nicely. Again thank you for a wonderful guitar. God bless.

Hmmm, where to begin? First of all, this email can be filed into the 'fan mail' section...I know you all must be bombarded with emails everyday. Secondly, I never, ever write fan mail!!!
I have read all about Luna guitars on your site, including the interview that Yvonne gave. Having never plucked a guitar string yet in my 34 years, save for my father's old acoustic guitar when I was very young, I became bitten by the 'let's try it' bug. My husband said I wouldn't be able to play the electric guitar because my hands couldn't handle it.
I was looking at some of the Les Paul guitars built for women, and they are pretty. I kept passing up Luna guitars on the search engines but I decided to take a look. Color ME surprised!!!!
So, you may be asking by now, where the heck are you going with this note??? I read in the interview that Yvonne gets a LOT of emails saying that her instruments are inspiring. So, I know I am not stating anything extraordinary here. But, I felt absolutely compelled to write. Luna guitars have something....special. Even though I know NOTHING about them yet, it's like an inner radiance that seems to shine through. And I don't think it's trick photography. It's this luminosity that matches what I can see in Yvonne's photo as well. It's a most beautiful, empowering, tranquility that is hard to put into words. I just needed to say that.

~ Michelle NM

A friend of mine recently told me to look at your website, and I instantly fell in love. Your guitars are beyond the word 'beautiful', and the love put into them really shows. They are guitars that I would be not only proud to tote around on stage, but honored to as well.

~ George

I came across some pictures of a Luna Paradise C and thought, wow...if this thing sounds half as good as it looks it will be well worth the money.
So, I did something I've never done before, I bought a guitar online without even playing it. Needless to say...It was a GREAT decision.
The Luna sounds every bit as beautiful as it looks, from the studio to the stage. The Luna guitar is my favorite guitar I've ever owned, and has become like a trusted friend.Rarely does a show go by when I don't answer two or three questions afterwards about that incredible looking guitar I play. Thanks For Everything Luna!

~ Robby White

I just read your interview at modernguitars.com. I think it's wonderful that one person with an idea can create a product and a company and stand next to the big corporations. It's very inspiring.

I bought the mini mermaid guitar for my ten year old daughter last Xmas. She absoulutely adores the guitar and is now playing beutiful music. In fact her guitar teacher informed her to take good care of it as it was a real good guitar. I am so impressed with the quality that I am buying her another  this Xmas.

~ Elizabeth SCOTLAND

I have only just discovered your guitars. I have fallen in love with the zen acoustic and will buy it as soon as I can find a dealer. I love the artwork on your guitars nd am looking to soon own 1 or more of them. I've found it hard to find any guitars like them so just thought I'd compliment your skills :)

~Tom

I recently stumbled across your site after purchasing a guitar tuner from the fret store online. After making the purchase, I noticed they were selling a Luna Apollo trans black that immediately captured my imagination. After visiting your site, I have been completely blown away by how amazing your guitars look and the amazing quality and variety of the artists who are playing them.
I have been flipping the URL of your site to every guitar and bass player I know.
Thank you so much for doing what you do, a real ray of sunshine.

~David

II just had to write and exclaim how beautiful I think your guitars are…
I happen to come across a Trinity model when I was searching on eBay and absolutely fell in love with it!!  I felt the need to  research Luna more.
The detail and craftsmanship are present even through the pictures.  I have admittedly looked over your entire site numerous times dreaming of affording to purchase one of your playable pieces of art!  I haven’t been able to find a local dealer to play and see one in person, however I hope to soon…
As a struggling musician and graphic artist, I just wanted to write and tell you how much I appreciate what  your integrity and spirituality is bringing to the instrument and music culture…   I hope to one day own one!!
I will most defiantly be spreading the word about your wonderful creations!!

I started learning how to play guitar barely a month ago, but when I
saw the Oasis, I knew that It was the guitar I wanted to learn on.
Alex's beautiful artwork and the amazing sound of the guitar make it a
truly inspirational instrument. My daughters are enjoying it too!
Thank you!

~ Nicole

Hi I just had to tell you thanks and keep up the great work. I just got my Gypsy Muse and I love it. It has such a rich sound. I have had a series of strokes and while I have most of the use of my left hand back, it doesn't work real well... but the way you have built and setup your Guitars I can play it with ease. I tell everyone how great Luna Guitars are. Once again THANKS and take care.

~ Paul IA

I received a Luna Apollo from Steve at Blue Rock Guitars, on his recommendation that it was going to fit my needs. Now coming from Steve that would have to be one of the most educated recommendations ever made. Steve has been working with me for the better part of 2 years now. He can attest to how picky I am about a guitar and how it plays. What it should have and shouldn't and about the fit and finish. So back to the Apollo..... I don't get excited about guitars much anymore, because by the nature of my work, they are a tool to me like a hammer to a carpenter. So I get the Apollo and I kept my expectations down. I didn't wanna to be let down for any reason. Boy was I thrown back. I couldn't believe the immediately obvious quality in the guitar. The fit and finish was exceptional. I am not a big fan of Korean made guitars, but that isn't because Korea can't make a guitar. It is because most companies don't want to pay those manufacturers to make the best guitar they can. I have been to Seoul and a few other areas in Korea have have seen first hand what they are capable of doing. They are obviously hungry for business like Japan was in the 80s and can make a great guitar. It really does appear that Luna is paying that little extra for a better guitar than the competition. I appreciate that because then it isn't just about dollars. It is about making a guitar. I have had the guitar 5 days now and have spent about 20 hours playing it. I am more than excited about it and what it can do. The feel is perfect and I don't have to fight it to play it. I was playing a telecaster with EMGs before this guitar. I am much happier with the Apollo. I will be playing it as my main guitar this week when Savage Mill plays in NYC. I don't have the slightest doubt that it will perform flawlessly. I can't wait to take the Apollo on tour with us this fall. In closing, I want to give you a big thumbs up! You make a great guitar!
