A rising star of Detroit's thriving country music scene, the one-named Julianne and her bandmates in the group Redhill have won awards and fans alike with their upbeat blend of country, rock, blues and Motown. In fact, the band's first CD, You Get What You Get, garnered the Outstanding Country Recording award at the 2007 Detroit Music Awards. No wonder the group already has opened for such high-profile entertainers as Dwight Yoakam, Clint Black and Terri Clark. Redhill has been a spotlight artist at Nashville's famed Bluebird Cafe, too!

Luis Cabezas


Guitar player for power pop/punk trio The Dollyrots, Luis Cabezas is self taught. He took piano lessons as a kid, but ultimately decided that ear-training was going to get him further on guitar much faster. "My teachers ended up being a mix of Kurt Cobain, Brian Setzer and Johny Ramone," he says.

Grammy-Winning Artist, Eric Tingstad


Say the names Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel to any aficionado of instrumental music and, chances are, you'll elicit a sigh of sheer pleasure. The duo has recorded together professionally since the mid-1980s. Their 2003 album Acoustic Garden won the pair a Grammy Award in the New Age category and garnered lavish critical praise. One reviewer called the collaboration "a melodic bouquet."
